chapters 12-19

In this section of the story Paul is left alone for a couple days. He starts to think that Annie had a hart attack he is praying to god for her to be dead. After awhile he starts imagining things because he is dehidrating at one point he starts to pee in his blanket and then he cups his hands and drinks his own pee. This part reminded me of the show Man vs. Wild how Bear Grylls tells everyone to do what they have to do to survive. In fact one episode he drank his own pee because he couldn't find any water in the desert.

  1. i have to admit this part of the book sounds discusting. I can not imagine myself drinking my own pee. Also the show sounds interesting, so I might watch it.

  2. Pretty nasty how he had to drink his own urine. I hope for his sake that girl IS dead, so he would have some hope of escaping himself. The connection you made was a good one, because being trapped in the desert would be about as torcherous and excruciating as being kidnapped by a psychopath.
