Paul keeps typing and getting his medicince after a while he starts to feel better but then realizes he is adicted to the painkillers. He's legs are slowly healing but they still look horrible. Annie then starts giving him on;y asprins because that is enough for the pain. But then Paul starts suffering from withdrawl and takes some of the painkillers he stole from her. This reminds me of a show on true t.v where they try to help people get over an addiction but they usually don't get over it. They usually preten to be over it and when they get out of rehab they start doing the drug. one of the studies actually showed that after rehab the poeple where even more addicted to the drugs they where on. "Well, you better start thinking about all the dope you are taking. Paul. You better start thinking about it very seriously,"

Being addicted to a drug is very bad for your health usually. I never knew that after rehab more people are even more addicted to their drug than they were before. But i knew that most people that are addicted would most likely keep going and not stop.
ReplyDeleteThat's scary. I think addictions are very common though. I mean, one way or another, a person is addicted to something whether it's a noun--person, place, or thing-- or a verb, like exercising excessively; which might lead to the addiction of having a perfect body image. Regardless, anything can be addictive nowadays; think Facebook or YouTube. As far as withdrawal goes, think about not having internet for a while or your cellphone. The minute you get it back, you can be hooked on it for hours; with your cellphone, you might be next to it for days. I guess it's more about fullfilling that empty space. And druggies just have a tougher time with that. They want to go above and beyond it because it's what makes them feel good, happy.
